Your newborn session is all about taking things at your baby's pace. There's no pressure for your little one to sleep, settle or do anything on cue.
When you arrive at my cosy Trowbridge studio, we'll take our time getting comfortable before starting your photographs. There's plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, nappy changes and settling whenever your baby needs them.
I'll gently guide you through the session, capturing those tiny newborn details, beautiful photographs of your baby and those special moments together as a family. Parents and siblings are always welcome to be part of the photographs too.
You don't need to worry about your baby crying or needing extra cuddles. That's completely normal, and we'll simply take a break whenever needed.
My aim is for you to enjoy the experience, knowing that everything is taken care of while we capture these fleeting early days.

Yes! Sibling and family photographs are included in every session, I highly recommend you being in the photos too!

On average around 2 hours, but I book in for around 3 hours just in case and for no rushing.

I have a beautiful cosy cabin out the back of my home in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, its a little private hideaway, perfect for sleeping babies, I do not come to your home as I have everything equipped here in the studio

Ideally 7-14 days old. But I have photographed babies well into 8 weeks.

I have a pre booking service which allows you to guarantee a space -4 weeks and +4 weeks from your due date. I then save spaces throughout these 8 weeks to book you in once baby arrives.
ARE YOU EXPECTING A BABY?
If you're expecting a little one, you can reserve your newborn photography session while you're still pregnant.
As babies rarely arrive exactly on their due date, I only accept a limited number of newborn bookings each month. This allows flexibility if your baby arrives earlier or later than expected.
My newborn photography sessions take place in my cosy studio in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, with plenty of time for feeding, cuddles and settling your baby.
