Who’s Your Photographer?

Hi, I’m Kalie!

(Me and my son pictured!)

Motherhood hasn’t always felt easy for me, so I truly understand how vulnerable it can feel stepping in front of the camera, especially with little ones. My studio is a judgement-free space where tired mums, emotional babies, and lively toddlers are always welcome.

Some families prefer to keep their baby’s identity private online —

I offer the option of beautifully captured faceless or partially hidden images, allowing you to safely share your photographs on social media while still preserving the emotion and connection of these early days.

You can also opt in / out of social media sharing within your contract.

TESTIMONALS

‘Both myself and my other half have never had professional photos taken before so we were a little anxious, myself especially as I’m a plus size mummy.

We didn’t know what to expect but Kalie is so amazing at what she does! She creates a super warm and welcoming Atmosphere which quickly puts your mind at ease. The experience felt natural and comfortable as she helped to guide us the whole way through.’

FAQs

When Should I Book?

1

I recommend pre booking your due date with me from 20 weeks. This guarantees a space within the first month of baby being born. Or you can simply contact me once baby has arrived. Best time is usually the first 5-14 days after baby is born.

What if baby is born early?

2

I save spaces -2 weeks and + 4 weeks just incase of timelines. If earlier than this I usually can move my diary around to accommodate you.

What if baby won’t sleep?

3

On the odd occasions, we do get very awake babies in the studio (my own son was once of these too!) and I LOVE seeing wide awake babies, its super fun. I also have a very long session booked in with you, so we can relax, feed, rock, cuddle as much as we like without any hurry, if you really want the sleepy newborn photos.

How long does it take?

4

Our newborn sessions are usually booked for 4 hours, I rarely go to this time, the average is 2 hours, I book in extra time so we have no rush and we can be baby led.

What do I wear?

5

Our style is very neutral, whites, creams, browns are the best colours to go for. Or if you prefer we have our own client wardrobe where you can choose something very different but fitting perfectly for your session.

These first days pass in such a blur. Let’s preserve them beautifully .
