As babies rarely arrive exactly on their due date, I only accept a limited number of newborn bookings each month. This allows flexibility if your baby arrives earlier or later than expected.
My newborn photography sessions take place in my cosy studio in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, with plenty of time for feeding, cuddles and settling your baby.

I'm an award-winning newborn photographer based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, and a mum myself.
Motherhood hasn't always felt easy for me, so I truly understand how vulnerable it can feel stepping in front of the camera, especially with little ones.
My studio is a judgement-free space where tired mums, unsettled babies and lively toddlers are always welcome.
With over 15 years of photography experience and specialist newborn safety training, my priority is making sure you and your baby feel comfortable, relaxed and cared for throughout your session.

When Should I Book?

I recommend reserving your newborn photography session from around 20 weeks of pregnancy.
By booking your due date in advance, you'll secure a space in my diary for when your little one arrives.
Newborn photography sessions are often photographed within the first 5–14 days, when babies are typically sleepier, but older babies are welcome too!
If your baby has already arrived, don't worry. Get in touch and I'll check my availability.
What if baby is born early?

Babies rarely arrive exactly on their due date!
When you reserve your newborn session, I allow flexibility around your expected arrival date.
I keep space available around your due date to accommodate early and late arrivals wherever possible.
Once your baby arrives, simply let me know and we'll arrange your photography session.
What if baby won’t sleep?

Please don't worry! Not every newborn sleeps through their photoshoot, and that's absolutely fine.
My own little boy was one of those wide-awake babies, so I completely understand!
My newborn sessions are relaxed and baby-led, with plenty of time for feeding, cuddles and settling.
And if your baby decides to stay awake? Those beautiful wide-eyed expressions can make lovely photographs too.
How long does it take?

Newborn photography sessions typically last around 2–3 hours, although I allow up to four hours in my diary so there's never any rush.
Every baby is different, and sessions are completely baby-led.
There's plenty of time for feeds, nappy changes, cuddles and settling whenever needed.
This makes your booking process much clearer.
What do I wear?

I recommend soft, neutral colours such as creams, whites, beige and earthy tones, as these photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your baby.
You don't need to worry about buying a completely new outfit!
I also have a client wardrobe available, with carefully selected pieces that complement my newborn photography style.
I'm always happy to help you choose outfits before your session.
